Our Story

It all started with a family.

Founded by local farmers and hunters.

Israel and Jessica Yoder, along with their family, have grown their roots deep in the community of southern Michigan. Jessica (Stutzman) Yoder was raised by local dairy farmers and bakery owners. When she got married to Israel, they settled down nearby and started their own family.

About 15 years ago, Israel Yoder had a brilliant idea. While he was hunting in Kansas, he imagined a type of marketplace that would serve Michigan’s local community with quality meats, local products, and butchering services. When the owners of a popular, local bulk food store approached the Yoders about buying their store, it was the perfect opportunity. They were ready to make their dream a reality! We guess you might say that the rest is history.

The Yoders started out by taking over the bulk food store, combining it with butcher and taxidermy services in Vandalia, Michigan. A couple years later they bought a building in Three Rivers because they were ready to expand. When Jessica’s parents wanted to sell the bakery that they had operated for 17 years, the Yoders’ thought the bakery would mesh perfectly with their growing marketplace. So they bought the bakery and moved it to Three Rivers!

The Yoder's love running a family and business and their family is involved in everything they do. Their mission is to provide their local community with quality products and good jobs.

We want our Marketplace to be an environment that feels like home.

Bullseye Marketplace is the place to go when you are looking for impeccable quality, rare or hard-to-find ingredients and gifts, fabulous customer service and a wide variety of fresh, flavorful foods that we’ve carefully selected from the surrounding Michigan region.

We serve lower Michigan with quality, all-American meats and cheeses, thoughtful catering, delicious deli lunches, good local coffee, and Amish products.
